How to overcome the challenge of bad influence

"Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are."

This is an old saying, which can help us immensely if we become inspired and motivated by its meaning.

I know many people are constantly influenced negatively by others, simply because they relate to pessimistic, ignorant, and jealous opportunists.

What is curious about this type of situation is that we are free to choose to improve our self-esteem by leaving this kind of person behind, making new friends and deciding to become involved with a different energy and consciousness.

If you fit into any of the above examples, what would you do if you knew that you have the power and the strength to resolve these types of relationships, but do not use them?

What to give importance to

"Things are not important because they exist. Things are important because we ‘think’ about them." (author unknown)

What do you think about in your everyday life? How big are the problems or the solutions to the problems?

What do you concentrate your thoughts on? Those who offended you and/or gossip about you or the people that praise you and are always making you smile?

What do you think about most of the time? Which things give you importance in your life?

I know many people who think and talk about the negative side of things most of the time of their lives, in most of these cases these people have some form of depression, physical illness and/or muscle aches and other things like lack of appetite etc.

Is it worthwhile to wake up, sleep, eat and chat devoting most of the time to a subject which will bring anxiety instead of relief?

If, by chance, this is the case, I bet you are not happy as you could be.

When you are not happy, who is to blame? The person or situation you can’t change or YOU, who can choose to focus attention on what you deserve?

I suggest you pay close attention to your thoughts and internal dialogue as they can either help or destroy your ability to succeed in every way.

I hope you think the best possible way is being happy.

Yours in creation of happiness

What is your story?

Some people are told it is the end and despite the circumstances, they move things around and turn them into “the start” of something extraordinary – creating stories of not only survival but also of courage and contribution.

And you, what would you do if someone told you that was the end for you?

The competitive edge.  The desire to win. The determination to overcome any challenge, whatever it takes, winners will always find a way to overcome obstacles.

What is your story?

Nine out of ten people who make New Year's resolutions eventually give up halfway through and a third will break them by the end of January.

In the daily distractions and constant demands in which we live, we often neglect what we know.  If we content ourselves with resolutions rather than results when it comes to creating a healthy and successful lifestyle, we are sabotaging the happiness we deserve.

If you disagree, then why do many of us continue making the same promises year after year at the risk of us feeling down and discouraged?

It's simple: Resolutions require only words whereas Results require action.

Why most people don’t act?  Because of their Fear of change.

We are all born with the right to be happy, but many give this birthright away to the government, to money, to the boyfriend, to the lover, to the priest or to the boss and even to the thief.

Every day we encounter acts and facts reported by the media that are mired in atrocities influencing our emotional state that eventually can lead to acute or chronic depression. Pay attention to the tension!

I appreciate you!

There is something powerful and psychologically deep in our nature that makes us happy when we are appreciated.

You never know when a word of affection or appreciation can change a life forever.

I once wrote an article about the positive outcome of a compliment, suggesting that my readers praised more people. But today I felt I should do otherwise. Today I thought I should appreciate “you”. Yeah, you there reading this now.
